Below explains ways you can change your browser settings to make this site and the web more accessible to you. We also have a accessibility options opposite to help you with this.

WINDOWS
This page explains step-by-step how to change the text and background colours:
Click the 'Tools' menu or press 'Alt' + 'T'.
Click 'Options' or press 'O' to display the 'Options' dialog box.
Click the 'Content' tab or use the arrow keys until it is highlighted (in blue).
Click on 'Colours' or press 'Alt' + 'C' to open the 'Colours' dialog box.
To use your Windows colour scheme settings in Firefox click on the 'Use system colors' checkbox, or press 'Alt' + 'S' to select it.
Next click on 'Allow pages select their own colours, instead of my selections above' or press 'Alt' + 'A' to deselect it.
Click 'OK' or press 'Enter' to return to the options dialog box.
Click the 'OK' button, or press 'Tab' until the 'OK' button is selected and press 'Enter' , to return to Firefox.
Alternatively to set text and background colours just for Firefox:
Make sure the 'Use system colors' checkbox is unchecked by clicking on it if selected or press 'Alt' + 'S' to deselect it if it is selected.
For your text colour, click the colour swatch next to the 'Text': heading and click on the colour you want to use, or press 'Alt' + 'T' to jump to the text colour palette and use the cursor keys to browse the list of colours and then press 'Enter' to chose the highlighted colour.
For your background colour, click the colour swatch next to the 'Background:' heading and click on the colour you want to use, or press 'Alt' + 'B' to jump to the background colour palette and use the cursor keys to browse the list of colours and then press 'Enter' to choose the highlighted colour.
Next click on 'Allow pages select their own colours, instead of my selections above' or press 'Alt' + 'A' to deselect it.
Click 'OK' or press 'Enter' to return to the options dialog box.
Click the 'OK' button, or press 'Tab' until the 'OK' button is selected and press 'Enter', to return to Firefox.
Click on the 'Reload current page' button on the Navigation toolbar or press 'Ctrl' + 'R' to reload the page with your colour settings.

This page explains step-by-step how to change the text and background colours for OS X:

On a Mac you have limited options to change your OS colour scheme so you are more likely to need to set text and background colours just for Firefox. To do this:
Follow steps 1-4 above.
For your text colour, click the box next to the 'Text': heading or press 'Tab' to jump to it and press the 'Spacebar' to bring up the colour swatch.
Click on the text colour you want, or use the cursor keys to browse the list of colours, when the colour you want is highlighted press 'Enter'.
Make sure the 'Use system colors' checkbox is unchecked by clicking on it or 'Tab' to the checkbox and press 'Spacebar' if it is selected (ticked).
Next make sure the 'Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above' checkbox is turned off or 'Tab' to the checkbox and press 'Spacebar' to turn it off (uncheck the box).
If you do not need to change the 'Background' colour or 'Link colors' , to return to Firefox click the 'OK' button or press 'Enter' then press 'Apple' + 'W' to to return to Firefox.and ignore the rest of these steps but make sure you reload the page by pressing 'Apple' + 'R'.
For your background colour click the box next to the 'Background': heading or press 'Tab' to jump to it and press the 'Spacebar' to bring up the colour swatch.
Click on the background colour you want, or use the cursor keys to browse the list of colours, when the colour you want is highlighted press 'Enter'.
For the 'Link Colors' follow the steps above but choose the 'Unvisited Links' and 'Visited Links' boxes.
To return to Firefox click the 'OK' button or press 'Enter' then press 'Apple' + 'W' to to return to Firefox.
Finally press 'Apple' + 'R' to reload the page with your colour settings.

Follow these steps to increase or decrease the size of the text for the web page you are viewing:
Open the 'View' menu with the mouse or by pressing 'Alt' and 'V' at the same time.
Select the 'Text Size' option with the mouse or by pressing 'Z'.
Increase or decrease the text size with the mouse or by using the up and down arrow keys and pressing 'Enter'.
Alternatively you can press 'Ctrl' and '+' to increase the text size,'Ctrl' and '-' to decrease the text size. 'Ctrl' and '0' returns you to the default 'normal' size.
Follow these steps to set a minimum text size for all pages you visit:
Open the 'Tools' menu with the mouse or press 'Alt' + 'T'.
Click on 'Options', or press 'O', to open the Options dialog box.
Click the 'Content' tab or use the arrow keys until it is highlighted (in blue).
In the Fonts & Colours box click on 'Advanced', or press 'Alt' + 'D', to open the 'Fonts' dialog box.
Click on 'Minimum font size' box or press 'Alt'+ 'O'. Use the up and down arrows to select a new font size and press 'Enter'.
Click 'OK' button or press 'Enter'.
Click 'OK' button or tab to 'OK' button and press 'Enter'.

Check the 'Ignore colours specified on web page' checkbox with the mouse or by pressing 'Alt'+'C'.
Click the 'OK' button with the mouse or press 'Enter' to return to 'Internet Options'.
At this point it might appear than little has happened, but what has changed is the website is now using the colour scheme you have on your computer. If you are happy with the colours you do not need to take any further steps, just click 'OK' or press 'Enter' to return to the browser. If however you still need to change the text or background colours on the web page take the following steps:
With the 'Internet Options' box still open click on the 'Colors' button or press 'Alt' + 'O'.
The default setting is to have the 'Use Windows colors' option selected, to use your own colours click the box to remove the tick with the mouse or press 'Alt' + 'W'.
Select either the 'Text' button with the mouse or by pressing 'Alt' + 'T', or the 'Background' button with the mouse, or by pressing 'Alt' + 'B'.
Select the colour of your choice with the mouse orby using the arrow keys to highlight it and then pressing 'Spacebar' to select.
Click the 'OK' button with the mouse or press 'Enter'.
Repeat the process of selecting a colour for visited 'Alt' + 'I' and unvisited 'Alt' + 'N' links if needed.
When you have changed all the colours you want click 'OK' or press 'Enter' to return to the 'Internet Options' box
Click the 'OK' button with the mouse or press 'Tab' until it is selected and press 'Enter' once which will return you to Internet Explorer

This page explains step-by-step how to change the text and background colours for OS X:
Click on the 'Explorer' menu with the mouse and then then click on 'Preferences' or press 'Apple' + ';'.
If you cannot see a list of bulleted options under 'Web Browser' click the arrow next to 'Web Browser' to expand the options list or highlight 'Web Browser' using the up arrow and then press 'Apple' + 'Right arrow' key to expand the options.
Click the 'Web Content' section with the mouse or press the down arrow until it is highlighted.
Next click the button next to 'Text:' to bring up the Mac OS colour picker (no keyboard shortcut).
Click the bar on the right of the colour picker to change the brightness level of the colour or press 'Tab' until the slider on the bar is highlighted and use the up and down arrows to change the brightness.
Click on the colour circle to choose a colour - you can also slide around the colours by clicking and holding the mouse down or press 'Tab' to highlight the spot on the colour circle and press the cursor keys to move around the colour circle.
When you are happy with your colour choice click the 'OK' button or press 'Enter' to return to the 'Internet Explorer Preferences' window.
Repeat the steps 4 - 7 for the 'Background:' , 'Read Links:' and 'Unread Links:' if you want to change those colours.
When you have changed all the colours you want to, uncheck the checkbox next to 'Page specify colors' so the web page will use your colours (no keyboard shortcut).
Click the 'OK' button or press 'Enter' on your keyboard to return to Internet Explorer.

Follow these steps to increase or decrease the size of the text for the web page you are viewing:
For the first time in Internet Explorer 7 a zoom feature is included which allows you to enlarge the whole browser window.
To do this press 'Ctrl' + '+' to increase the zoom and 'Ctrl' + '-' to decrease the zoom.
You can also change the text size. The way to do this does depend on how the site has been built.
For many sites you only need to do the following:
Open the 'Page' menu with the mouse or by pressing 'Alt' + 'P'.
Select the 'Text Size' option with the mouse or by pressing 'X'.
Choose your preferred text size by clicking on it or by using the up and down arrow keys to select it and then press 'Enter'.
The text on the website should now have changed to reflect your choice.
However some websites have fixed the size of their text ('hard-coded') and as a result these websites will not show the change you have just made. If you would like to use larger text on these sites follow the following steps:
Click on the 'Tools' menu with the mouse or press 'Alt' + 'O'.
Click on 'Internet Options' option with the mouse or press 'O'. You should now see the 'Internet Options' box.
Click on the 'Accessibility' button with the mouse or press 'Alt' + 'E'.
In the Accessibility box click the 'Ignore font sizes specified on web page' checkbox to add a tick or press 'Alt' + 'Z'.
Click the 'OK' button to return to the Internet Options box.
Click on the 'OK' button, or press 'Tab' until 'OK' is selected and then press 'Enter' to return to Internet Explorer.

To choose your own colours in Opera 8 and 9:
Open the 'Tools' menu and select 'Preferences' or press 'Ctrl' + 'F12'.
Click the 'Web Pages' tab with the mouse or by pressing the 'Ctrl' + 'Tab' keys to cycle through the tabs until 'Web Pages' is selected.
Select the type of text you want to change the colour of for example 'Normal font' from the list by clicking it or by pressing 'Tab' until the font name is selected then 'Spacebar' to open the Font dialog box.
Click on or 'Tab' to the 'Color' option box and then press 'Spacebar' to open the colour options.
Click on the colour option you want or use 'Tab' to focus on the colour and then press 'Spacebar' to select it.
Click 'OK' or press 'Tab' until it is highlighted and press 'Enter' to return to the 'Preferences' window.
To change the background colour click in the 'background colour' box, or press 'Tab' until it is highlighted and press 'Spacebar' to display the 'colour picker box'.
Click on the colour option you want or use 'Tab' to focus on the colour and then press 'Spacebar' to select it.
Click 'OK' or press 'Tab' until it is highlighted and press 'Enter' to return to the 'Preferences' window.
The next step is to change setting under the Advanced Tab.
To do this
Click the 'Advanced' tab with the mouse or by pressing the 'Ctrl' + 'Tab' keys to cycle through the tabs until 'Advanced' is selected.
Select 'Content' from the list on the left by clicking on it or press the up and down arrows until it is highlighted in the left pane.
Press 'Tab' until the 'Style options...' link is selected and then press 'Enter' to bring up the 'Presentation modes' dialog box
Uncheck the 'Page style sheet' checkboxes under both the 'Author mode' and 'User mode' headings either by clicking on the checkboxes or by tabbing to them and pressing the 'Spacerbar' to deselect them.
Uncheck the 'Page fonts and colors' checkboxes under both the 'Author mode' and 'User mode' headings either by clicking on the checkboxes or by tabbing to them and pressing the 'Spacerbar' to deselect them.
Select the 'My fonts and colours' checkboxes under both the 'Author mode' and 'User mode' headings either by clicking on the checkboxes or or by tabbing to them and pressing the 'Spacerbar' to select them.
Click the 'OK' button with the mouse or 'Tab' to the 'OK' button and press 'Enter' to return to the 'Preferences' box.
Click the 'OK' button with the mouse or 'Tab' to the 'OK' button and press 'Enter' to return to the web page.
Refresh the page by pressing 'F5'.

Click on the 'Opera' menu and then click on 'Preferences...' or press 'Apple' +',' (comma).

To change the text colour:
Click on the large button next to 'Normal font' ('Times') below or press 'Tab' until the button is selected and then press the 'Spacebar'.
This will bring up the 'Select font' window.
Click on the box underneath 'color' or press 'Tab' until the box is highlighted and then press the 'Spacebar' to bring up the Mac OS colour picker.
Click the bar on the right of the colour picker to change the brightness level of the colour or press 'Tab' until the slider on the bar is highlighted and use the up and down arrows to change the brightness.
Click on the colour circle to choose a colour - you can also slide around the colours by clicking and holding the mouse down or press 'Tab' to highlight the spot on the colour circle and press the cursor keys to move around the colour circle.
When you are happy with your colour choice click the 'OK' button or press 'Enter' twice to return to the 'Preferences' window.
if you do not need to change the background or link colours you can skip the next section and follow the instructions under the heading 'Telling the browser to use your colours'.
Telling the browser to use your colours:
Once you have changed all the colours you want to, you then need to change the browser settings. To do this:
Click on the 'Advanced' tab or press 'Alt' + 'Tab' to highlight it.
Click on 'Content' or use the up and down arrow to selected it.
Click on the 'Style Options' button or press 'Tab' until it is highlighted and press the 'Spacebar'.
Click on the 'Presentation modes' tab or press 'Alt' + 'Tab' until the 'Presentation modes' tab is selected.
Under both the 'Author mode' and 'User mode' options turn off page style sheet by clicking on the checkbox next to 'Page style sheet' or press 'Tab' until the checkbox in the 'Author mode' column is selected and press the 'Spacebar', repeat for 'Page style sheet' in the 'User mode' column. The checkboxes should no longer have 'ticks' in them.
Repeat step 1 for the 'Page fonts and colors' checkboxes to turn them off.
Select the 'My fonts and colours' under both the 'Author mode' and 'User mode' headings either by clicking on the checkboxes with a mouse or press 'Tab' until the checkbox in the 'Author mode' column is selected and press the 'Spacebar' , repeat for 'My fonts and colours' in the 'User mode' column. The checkboxes should have 'ticks' in them.
If you changed the 'Normal link colour' and the 'Visited link color' repeat step 3 above for the 'My link style' checkboxes to turn them on.
Click the 'OK' button twice or press 'Enter' twice to return to Opera.

Follow these steps to increase or decrease the size of the text for the web page you are viewing:
Opera can increase the size of images as well as text.
You can quickly increase or decrease the size of both text and graphics using the Keyboard.
Press '+' (in some versions you might need to press the 'Shift' key as well) to increase size and the '-' to decrease text size. Each press will increase or decrease the size by 10%. Alternatively press 'Alt' + 'V' to bring up the view menu and then press 'Z' to bring up the zoom options then use the up and down arrow keys to select the option you want followed by 'Enter'.
However the changes will not be remembered next time you open Opera.
To permanently increase or decrease the size of the text follow these steps:
Click on the 'Tools' menu with the mouse and then click on 'Preferences' or press 'Ctrl'+ 'F12'.
Click on the 'Web pages' tab with the mouse or press 'Ctrl' + 'Tab' to cycle through the tabs until 'Web pages' is selected.
Click on the 'Page Zoom' option box and select your zoom size or press the 'Tab' key twice to select the page zoom option box and use the up and down arrow keys to select your zoom size.
Click the 'OK' button or press 'Enter' to return to Opera.

If not already selected click on the radio button 'Use my chosen colours, ignoring the colours and background images specified' or press 'Tab' until 'Always use the colors and background specified by the web page' is selected then press the down arrow once to select 'Use my chosen colours, ignoring the colours and background images specified'.
Click 'OK' or press 'Enter' to return to Netscape.

You can also set a minimum font size for all the web pages you visit in your browser preferences as an alternative to using the 'Text Zoom' option. To do so:
Click on the 'Edit' menu with the mouse or press 'Alt' + 'E'.
Click on 'Preferences' or press 'E' to open the preferences dialog box.
Click on the 'Font' heading underneath the 'Appearance' category or use the arrow keys to select 'Font'. If you cannot see the 'Font' heading, you may need to expand the 'Appearance' category. Do this by either double clicking on 'Appearance', or selecting 'Appearance' with the arrow keys and pressing the right arrow key.
Click on the drop down box next to 'Minimum font size:' and choose a font size by clicking on it or press the 'Tab' key until the box is highlighted, then press the up arrow to expand the list, choose a new font size by selecting the size you want with the 'up' and 'down' arrow keys and then press 'Enter'.
If there is a tick in the checkbox 'Allow documents to use other fonts' you might need to uncheck it for your minimum font size to work, to do this click on the box to uncheck it or press the 'Tab' key until the checkbox is highlighted and then press the 'Spacebar' to uncheck it.
Now click 'OK' or press 'Enter' to return to Netscape.

Click on the 'Minimum Font size:' box and choose a new font size or press the 'Tab' key until the box is highlighted then press the down arrow to expand the font size list and use the up and down arrows to choose your font size then press 'Enter'.
Click 'OK' or press 'Enter' to return to the page you were viewing.

Follow these steps to increase or decrease the size of the text for the web page you are viewing:
Click on the 'View' menu with the mouse.
Click on 'Make Text Bigger' or Make Text Smaller to change the font size.
Or to to use keyboard shortcuts:
Increase or decrease the text size with 'Apple' and '+' (plus) and 'Apple' and '-' (minus).
Take the following steps to set a larger text size for all the pages you visit:
Click on the 'View' menu with the mouse.
Click on the 'Safari' menu with the mouse and then then click on 'Preferences' or press 'Apple' +','(Comma).
Click on the 'Appearance' icon or press 'Ctrl' + 'F5' to highlight the 'General' icon and then press the right arrow key to highlight 'Appearance' then press the 'Spacebar'.
Click on 'Select' next to 'Standard font:' box or press 'Tab' once to highlight the 'Select' button and then press the 'Spacebar'.
This will bring up the 'Fonts' window click on font size you want under the 'Sizes' heading or press 'Ctrl' + 'F6' then 'Ctrl' + 'F7' then 'Tab' twice to enter the 'Sizes' box were you can type in the font size you want and then press 'Enter'.
Click on the 'Fonts' box close button or press 'Esc'.
Click on the 'Appearance' window close button or press 'Esc' to return to Safari.
On pages that support it the text size should now have changed.
